The Tamilnadu Psychiatric Society is dedicated to advancing mental health care in Tamilnadu by :
 
- Fostering a supportive community for young psychiatrists to grow and develop their careers
 
- Promoting professional development through continuing medical education, conferences, and workshops
 
- Encouraging mentorship and guidance for early-career psychiatrists
 
- Organizing annual conferences, CMEs, and quizzes to stimulate learning and innovation
 
- Conducting mental health awareness programs and community outreach initiatives to promote mental wellness
