Who can become a Member?
Membership to Indian Psychiatry Society - Tamil Nadu Chapter (TNIPS) is open to registered medical practitioners working or training in the field of psychiatry only. (MD, D.P.M, MRC Psych, or Dip. Psych)
First they have to become a Member of - Indian Psychiatry society and South zone branch of Indian psychiatry society.
Indian Psychiatric Society:
Life Ordinary Member:
- Should have completed their M.B.B.S and pursuing or completed post-graduation (D.P.M. or M.D, MRC Psych, or Dip. Psych) in psychiatry.
Life Fellow:
- Those who have completed post-graduation (D.P.M. or M.D, MRC Psych, or Dip. Psych) with a minimum of 2 years training in psychiatry.
- Practising Psychiatry full time for at least 5 years after completing post-graduation in Psychiatry
Documents to be attached : (Indian Psychiatry Society)
Two Recent passport size photographs (2.5 cms width * 3.5 cms height with white Background)
Attested photocopies of M.B.B.S Degree and Registration Certificate
Attested photocopies of Postgraduate Psychiatric Qualification Degree and Registration Certificate
If change in Name then attested photocopy of Affidavit / Gazette Certificate
Attestaion must be by either Gazette Officer or Proposer or Seconder
Payment of membership fees as mentioned in the application form.
NEFT / RTGS / Mobile Transfer / Payment Proof along with Hard copy of Membership Application Form & Documents
